“The fire that destroyed a large part of Glendowie Primary School and caused damage to a similar area was a significant event for both the school and the Ministry.
The timing of the fire, less than a month before the start of the new school year presented a number of challenges in providing temporary classrooms and also repairing the damaged rooms for use, The works were very ably managed by Tony Coleman of Building Solution who addressed the demolition and repairs and Martin Hall who arranged the establishment of the temporary rooms.
Critical to the success of the operation however, was the co-operation from contractors, Both the school and Ministry received overwhelming support from the construction sector, and the dedication and sheer hard work put in by everyone involved was amazing and hugely appreciated.
I am writing to simply say ‘thank you’ to you and your staff for your company’s contribution to this project - without you and your construction colleagues, we could not have achieved the re-opening of the school in such a short time.”

A recommendation that pays off!
Our house required a total rewire and we decided to get three quotes before we settled on a supplier. I called Hines to arrange a quote as they had installed the burglar alarm in my Mum's house and it all went very well. Andrew came round on Tuesday (on time) and I really liked his attitude. I was pleased that the quote he offered on Wednesday was also the lowest of the three! I accepted the quote on Thursday and he said that he could send his guys to begin the job on Monday. Stacy and Heng arrived on Monday (on time) and carried out the rewiring over the next three days. The boys are cheerful and friendly and a total pleasure to have in the house. Stacy explained all the work they were doing and kept us informed throughout the process. They did a great job. They even managed to shave a hundred bucks off the quoted price! I really couldn't be happier : )
